Halo Top Releases 7 New Flavors of Low-Cal, High-Protein Nice Cream

Hold the phone, we have the biggest news this side of the Mississippi. Halo Top, the nicest of nice creams currently on the market, has released the names of their seven new flavors. That’s right; there are seven new flavors coming to a store near you, just for you in hopes to satisfy that sweet tooth of yours. Halo Top came on the scene in a big way a few years back, and has since then taken over the country with their low calorie, high protein ice cream lookalike. Yes, it’s still ice cream, it just happens to have some stuff (think protein and fiber) in it that your body actually needs, with a sweet touch to it. That’s the Halo Top way, y’all.

There will now be 24 total flavors of Halo Top’s new ice cream available to consumers on the market, making it that much easier to stick to your healthy living routine. Take that, Ben & Jerry’s! With Halo Top, which always touts moderation, you can eat the entire pint and not feel a bit guilty about it all. The ice cream brand is breaking the bank, outselling both Häagen-Dazs and Ben & Jerry’s on the regular.

Trust us, we’re just as excited as the next guy for the addition of these new flavors into the Halo Top team. Unfortunately, we must wait until at least August 14th before we’ll see these bad boys on the market. However, that doesn’t mean we can’t drool over their low-cal gooey and creamy goodness in the meantime. Here are your newest Halo Top flavors.

1. Caramel Macchiato

This masterfully crafted nice cream pint only has 280 calories in the whole thing. If that doesn’t make you want to become a coffee ice cream fan and scream with glee, we’re not sure what will.

Hints of caramel swirls and caramel ribbons take over this ice cream flavor, leaving you wanting more with each spoonful.

2. Mochi Green Tea

You may have seen the Mochi Green Tea ice cream balls on the frozen treat shelves of Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s, and if that stuff is any indication of how good this could be . . . we’re beyond ecstatic to try it.

Better yet? There’s real bits of mochi in this sweet stuff.

3. Candy Bar

You may be wondering what they could throw into a candy bar flavored ice cream in the massive world of various candy bars. Well, the addition of chocolate syrup and toasted nuts gives you an idea of what to expect.

Somewhere between the combination of a Snickers bar and Ferrero Rocher candies is where this stuff lands. You know what they say: Don’t hate it ’til you try it.

4. Pancakes & Waffles

We’re probably the most excited about this stuff. How can anyone be mad when eating a pancake or a waffle, especially when it tastes like there’s maple syrup drizzled on top. Simply put: You shouldn’t be.

Perhaps the genius’ behind Halo Top knew this. Perhaps they’re onto something bigger than just an ice cream flavor. Oh, the places we could go!

5. Rainbow Swirl

The first thing that popped into our heads when we read this? Rainbow sherbet. At 240 calories a pint, sherbet has never looked so good.

Described like tropical Dippin’ Dots, this flavor is for you if you’re into the fruitier things in life.

6. Cinnamon Roll

Why has it taken this long in life for something so savory and sweet to be remixed it to a lower calorie and lower sugar count, without nixing the cinnamon roll dough?

Whatever the reason may be, it’s slightly insignificant now, as Halo Top has flipped everyone’s script. This stuff resembles Cinnabon in every way—sans the overload of fat and calories. Hoorah!

7. Chocolate Covered Banana

We all love (or should) chocolate, and bananas are healthy enough, so . . . why not combine the two for the ultimate ice cream flavor? If you’re not into banana-flavored ice cream, the good news here is that this tastes like a Laffy Taffy.

If you’re not about a yellow Laffy Taffy, we still suggest you and some friends give this a try. Everyone tastes things differently, and who’s to say that’s not the case with this flavor? We’re not saying you shouldn’t put crunchy peanut butter on top as an extra treat, but we’re asking you to consider it.

Are you a Halo Top fan, past or present? Let us know what your favorite flavors are, and which of the new flavors you’re excited for!
