Sometimes we make fun of Lululemon — it’s hard not to when the pricey retail store has been called out for creating a cult-like atmosphere for its employees. Despite this, we still like the store’s products (when we can afford them) and we appreciate the free pop-up classes they hold for locals.
This winter Lulu opens a seasonal store in Mt. Pleasant’s Towne Centre (specifically at 1236 Belk Drive, with front door facing Towne Centre Way). Head there for the grand opening tomorrow, Wed. Nov. 1, with doors opening at 10 a.m. From 4-7 p.m. enjoy music from DJ Smartz and lemon cupcakes.
The grand opening fun continues on Saturday and Sunday at 9 a.m. with in-store classes. Saturday’s flow-style yoga will be taught by Charleston Power Yoga’s Sarah Frick and Sunday’s class will be taught by a CycleBar instructor. Lululemon will continue to hold in-store classes throughout the month of November on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Store manager Caitlin McCormack says, “We can’t wait to sweat and connect with the Mt. Pleasant community.” Indeed. Check out the Lululemon pop-up tomorrow through January 31, 2018.
