It’s quite the holiday weekend! This year, Cinco De Mayo falls on a Saturday and, as always, it’s preceded by Star Wars Day.
Star Wars Day, if you’re not familiar, is a holiday born from a pun: Because we can say that today is “May the Fourth,” we can also say “May the Fourth be with you.” Get it?!
So, in honor of the punniest holiday this side of Pi Day, here are three on-sale Star Wars kitchen products that are as useful as they are nerdy.
1. Star Wars Geeki Tikis, $8 for one/$35 for six at Think Geek
Think Geek actually stocks a fair amount of Star Wars-themed kitchen stuff that’s cute, if not downright pretty (looking at you, Lando Calrissian wine stopper). Tiki mugs are kitschy by nature, making them a perfect pairing for old-school Star Wars characters. These will totally set the mood in your own cantina — even if you’re not on Tatooine.

2. Star Wars R2-D2 Coffee Press, $20 at Think Geek
This is the droid you’re looking for — he’ll make you coffee! It operates just like a normal French press, but it just happens to look like the most adorable droid to ever escape from the Jawas. R2 can brew up to 32 ounces of coffee at a time. Beep bean bloop brew.
3. Kotobukiya 2-Pack Death Star Silicone Ice Molds, $8
Going to the dark side for a bit, this ice mold is a great way to keep your drinks from getting watered down as you sip. The silicone molds can also be used to make ice cream balls, in case your next sundae bar needs a touch of the Galactic Empire.
4. Darth Vader 2-Slice Toaster, $32 at Kohl’s
Speaking of the dark side, you can make light or dark toast in this helmet! There are also two other options (though not currently on sale): a storm trooper and, of course, the Death Star.
May the Fourth be with you!
